Hi, I'mAlisa Zhang😁

I study Bioinformatics and Math-CS at UC San Diego, and spend most of my time trying to make biology legible with computation.

Right now I'm working on using protein language models for genotype to phenotype mapping at the Talmo Lab at Salk, identifying prediabetes metabolomics as biomarkers at the Majithia Lab, and a research-reading app that maps every answer back to the exact sentence in the PDF called LocusAI.

Also into startups, human-centered design, CAD, and hackathons.
